Will.i.am Confirms That Fergie Has Left The Black Eyed Peas

... Shocker, right? For those of you who were thinking "The Black Eyed Peas were still together?", we guess you're not the only ones.

She has not commented on the split but the "band/group" shared that they felt they always worked great with women, but it sounds as if they are trying to make it sound like she wasn't an actual member.

The group told UAE Magazine Ahlan! the following:

"Since the beginning of Black Eyed Peas, we've always had amazing vocalists that appeared on the mic with us. People like Macy Gray, Esthero, Debi Nova, Fergie. On Elephunk, there were several females that appeared on that album," will.i.am said. "Obviously Fergie was the featured female, but on songs like 'Let's Get it Started,' it's Noelle [Scaggs], and then Fergie, songs like 'Latin Girls,' it's Debi Nova, and 'Request Line,' it's Macy Gray. We'll always work with good females."

Will.i.am notes that Nicole Scherzinger will be on the newest BEP project, but she isn't "replacing" Fergie.

That's okay. We'd take Nicole, she's awesome.

We'll let Fergie hang out with Kim Kardashian and Chrissy Teigen pour milk on herself. Ya know, because that worked so well for her solo career.
