Forever 21 is a favorite among people who like fairly priced fad clothing.
Now, the store is branching into another area of shopping; makeup! Forever 21 owners Ester and Linda Chang will be launching a beauty store entitled Riley Rose. Don’t think that you’ll be able to get clothing, this store will strictly sell beauty related items! Riley Rose will be a stand-alone chain, but will have the same feel as its sister fashion store.
Women’s Wear Daily was the first to report on this new store in the beginning of the year. However, customers will not have to wait too long to get their hands on some beauty products. The first Riley Rose will open in Glendale, CA on September 30th.
All products sold in the store will be aimed towards millennials. Customers can expect to see brands like “TonyMoly, Winky Lux, Essie, R+Co, Stila, and Laure Geller” says PopSugar.

The color scheme will be white and pink which will definitely help to make it stand out from other makeup store competitors. Ester and Linda Chang are hoping to have a lot of exposed brick on the exterior of the store. Inside of Riley Rose, it will look similar to a makeup store. There will be a series of mirrors, makeup stands and, of course, areas where you will be able to test out the products.
If you are like me, you were probably wondering if the store will be selling Forever 21’s line of makeup. Even though they are sister stores, Riley Rose will not be selling their special line of products.
Are you in California? Try to make it out to the store’s grand opening. We are sure that there will be some freebies and a lot of opportunities to take some stellar Instagram shots! Hopefully, us East coasters will be able to see the store’s addition to our area soon.
