Charlie Murphy, comedian, has passed away at the age of 57, according to TMZ.
Like his brother, Eddie Murphy, he had his own comedy career. He recently was on tour with some of the big names, including Cedric the Entertainer, Eddie Griffin, George Lopez and D.L. Hughley, according to TMZ.
He was diagnosed and battling Leukemia, and the news came from his manager. He was receiving treatment for the disease.
His most famous slots are from when he was one of the skit co-stars on Chapelle Show.
He seemed to be keeping it relatively positive on Twitter, so we assume this has to be a shock for everyone involved.
