CHICAGO, ILLINOIS - JUNE 26: R&B singer R. Kelly leaves the Leighton Criminal Courts Building following a hearing on June 26, 2019 in Chicago, Illinois. Prosecutors turned over to Kelly's defense team a DVD that alleges to show Kelly having sex with an underage girl in the 1990s. Kelly has been charged with multiple sex crimes involving four women, three of whom were underage at the time of the alleged encounters.

R. Kelly made headlines this week after being arrested again on federal sex crime charges, and now, more details are available on the arrest.

Per TMZ, about 20 different tapes of Kelly with underage girls were turned over to the authorities. Gerald Griggs, the attorney for the family of Joycelyn Savage, told TMZ that “several of Kelly’s enablers — past and present — flipped and turned over the tapes to investigators.”

Savage is one of Kelley’s alleged victims, and her parents claim they haven’t been in contact with their daughter since she began a relationship with Kelly.

Kelly was arrested in Chicago on Thursday (July 11) on a 13-count indictment in federal court for the Northern District of Illinois, which includes charges of child pornography, enticement of a minor, and obstruction of justice.
